Springfield Armory 1911-A1 .45 ACP Full-Size, Two-Tone, Kensight Adjustable Rear, Hogue Grips, NM-Prefix Geneseo Frame
This Springfield Armory Model 1911-A1 is a .45 ACP, Government-size 5-inch pistol built on forged steel slide and frame with a two-tone finish. It is customized with a Kensight fully adjustable rear sight and Hogue black rubber grip panels, and features a lowered ejection port and skeletonized long trigger. The frame is Geneseo-marked with an NM-prefix (this prefix does not denote National Match). SELLING AS IS.
The slide carries Springfield's crossed-cannons crest and has vertical rear cocking serrations. Safety equipment includes a left-side thumb safety and a grip safety. The configuration retains classic 1911 elements such as an arched mainspring housing, smooth front strap, GI-style narrow spur hammer, and a GI-length guide rod with checkered plug.
This full-size 1911 uses a plain staked front sight paired to the Kensight target-style adjustable rear, giving the pistol a sight picture suited to precise elevation and windage adjustments. The ejection port is lowered to facilitate reliable case clearance.
Other build details include a forged steel construction for both slide and frame, a two-tone presentation with the slide finished darker than the frame, and a single-action-only fire control with a long, three-hole aluminum skeletonized trigger. Hogue black rubber grip panels complete the setup. Capacity is 8+1 with the included magazines.

The NM-prefix Geneseo-marked frame provides useful production context for Springfield Armory 1911s of this era; the "NM" prefix here is a serial prefix and not a National Match designation. The pistol's Government-size configuration, forged steel construction, and classic GI-style components are paired with practical updates such as the adjustable rear sight and lowered ejection port.
Controls remain true to the 1911 pattern, with a left-side thumb safety and grip safety. The GI-length guide rod with checkered plug, arched mainspring housing, and smooth front strap maintain the traditional feel, while the skeletonized long aluminum trigger offers a modernized fire-control component. The two-tone finish highlights a darker slide over a lighter frame.
Markings include the Springfield crossed-cannons crest on the slide. The rear sight is a Kensight fully adjustable target-style unit, and the front is a plain staked blade. Grips are Hogue black rubber panels. Capacity is 8+1 with the included magazines. SELLING AS IS.
