The 2K11 Target platform delivers a double-stack 1911 layout with a stainless-steel frame and an aluminum grip module, capped by a large flared magwell finished in a coyote/bronze tone for fast reloads. Aggressively textured grip panels, front-strap texturing, and a high undercut behind the trigger guard enhance control without adding bulk.
Its 5-inch barrel is fluted, ramped, and cut with 5R rifling to support accuracy and reliable feeding. A tool-less guide-rod system simplifies disassembly while maintaining a consistent lockup. The single-action, hammer-fired system uses a flat, skeletonized trigger and a skeletonized hammer for a crisp break and quick reset.
The coyote PVD slide features lightening cuts and a lowered, flared ejection port. A TAG FiberLok red fiber-optic front sight provides a bright aiming reference. The slide is marked "KIMBER TROY, AL USA," and the pistol is made in the USA.
An optics-mounting system with interchangeable plates supports multiple footprints (RMR/RMSc, DPP, ACRO, 509T), and this example includes a Trijicon SRO 2.5 MOA red-dot mounted on the slide. A full-length dust cover with a three-slot Picatinny rail offers ample space for rail-mounted accessories. Ambidextrous manual thumb safety and a grip safety are standard.
