What’s Included
- Winchester Model 94 Carbine rifle chambered in .30-30
Pre-64 production and a 1956 manufacture date place this Model 94 squarely in the desirable early configuration with top ejection and the classic carbine layout. It retains the hallmark 20-inch round steel barrel and full-length tubular magazine, secured by two barrel bands.
The sighting setup is traditional and practical: a hooded ramp front sight and a semi-buckhorn rear sight with a stepped elevator. Winchester included factory drill-and-tap holes on the receiver’s left side for a receiver (aperture) sight, with plug screws currently installed.
Controls and operation are true to the Model 94 design, with a lever-action mechanism, exposed hammer with a half-cock safety, and a right-side loading gate. Capacity is 6+1 in .30-30 Winchester.
Finish and furniture are classic Winchester: blued steel throughout, paired with a straight-grip, uncheckered wood buttstock and matching carbine forend. Markings include the barrel roll mark "Winchester Proof Steel" along with "MODEL 94 – 30-30 WIN – WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL, TRADE MARK – MADE IN U.S.A."
