The Shield Plus TS configuration provides an ambidextrous manual thumb safety paired with a trigger safety and no magazine disconnect. This setup offers positive, repeatable controls without adding unnecessary bulk to the micro-size frame.
The stainless steel barrel and slide wear S&W’s Armornite nitride finish, complemented by 5-groove rifling and a 1:10 RH twist. The result is a corrosion-resistant exterior with a clean, mirror-finished bore and sharp rifling.
The slide carries front and rear scalloped/wave-pattern serrations for confident manipulation and is specified with no optic cut. A 3-dot white sight system rides a 5.3 in sight radius for a clear, uncomplicated sight picture.
Dimensions are compact and clearly defined: 3.1 in barrel, 6.1 in overall length, 4.6 in height, and a listed width of 0.94/1.10 in. Unloaded weight is approximately 20.2 oz.
