The heart of this rifle is a 22-inch blued carbon-steel sporter barrel with a recessed crown, chambered in .270 Winchester. The bore condition is excellent with sharp rifling, supporting the rifle’s clean internal condition.

The receiver is drilled and tapped and comes with two-piece scope bases and 1-inch rings already installed. A ramped steel front sight is present, and no rear sight is installed, offering a clean setup for optics.

The right-hand bolt has a classic round knob, and the stated capacity is 3+1. The action is the proven Model 700 bolt-action design built at Remington’s Ilion, New York facility.

The synthetic camouflage stock includes molded checkering for grip, a Remington SuperCell recoil pad, and sling swivel studs. Length of pull measures 13.5 inches, providing a comfortable fit for many shooters.

Production dates to 1980–1987 based on the B-prefix serial range, placing this rifle within a well-regarded era for Ilion-made Model 700s with blued carbon-steel receivers and barrels.
