The Omni Hybrid MAXX uses ATI’s reinforced polymer receiver system, identifiable by the "OMNI HYBRID MULTI-CAL" lower marking and ATI patent numbers US9068786 and US6789305. The roll mark reads "American Tactical – Summerville, SC," and the rifle is made in the USA. Standard AR-15 controls are retained with SAFE/FIRE selector markings and a right-side magazine release.
The 16-inch barrel is threaded. Chambered in 5.56 NATO, the rifle offers a 20+1 capacity and runs a direct impingement action. The slick-side upper includes a brass deflector and a dust cover, and it omits the forward assist.
An aluminum free-float M-LOK handguard aligns with the receiver’s continuous T-marked 1913 Picatinny top rail, providing a consistent mounting surface. The package includes flip-up iron sights with a Votatu front, giving immediate sighting capability out of the box.
Furniture includes a 6-position collapsible polymer stock with a 13-inch length of pull and a textured polymer pistol grip for secure handling. The handguard is dressed with textured M-LOK rail cover panels, and an angled foregrip is installed for added control.
