The pistol retains front and rear diagonal cocking serrations and a green fiber-optic front sight, with the rear sight integrated into the optics cover plate. Built on a forged steel frame with a Tenifer QPQ finish, the MAC 9 DS delivers a durable 1911-style, recoil-operated platform configured for double-stack 9mm. The integral Picatinny/M1913 rail is marked with MAC 9 DS / TISAS / TURKIYE and provides a mounting point for accessories.
The 4.25 in barrel is bushingless and bull-profile with a target crown. The slide carries front and rear diagonal cocking serrations and is cut for optics; a cover plate with the integrated rear sight is currently installed. Sights include a dovetailed green fiber-optic front blade.
Controls and ergonomics include single-action-only operation, an ambidextrous thumb safety, a beavertail grip safety, and a skeletonized commander-style hammer. The textured polymer grip module supports the double-stack format and incorporates a flared magwell with a detachable funnel installed, with three 17-round magazines supplied.
This example is customized with a Dawson Precision short trigger (aftermarket) and a skeletonized trigger shoe. The original factory trigger is included but not installed.
