This Gen4 G17 delivers the classic full-size 9mm format with a 4.49 in barrel and approximately 7.95 in overall length, offering a 17+1 capacity in a striker-fired Safe Action system. The polymer frame includes the Gen4 RTF grip with finger grooves for secure purchase, plus an integral accessory rail on the dust cover.
The barrel is steel, cold-hammer-forged with polygonal rifling, and paired with a matte black slide featuring rear serrations, an external extractor, and no front serrations. Sights are Glock-pattern with a screw-retained front sight marked "5.0" and a rear sight set in a dovetail.
As an Austrian-manufactured example, it bears a CIP proof mark on the barrel and a Glock logo over "AT" on the barrel lug. The frame is marked "MADE IN AUSTRIA GLOCK, INC., SMYRNA, GA." The slide, frame, and barrel share matching serial numbers.
Gen4-specific updates include the dual captive recoil spring assembly and an enlarged, reversible magazine release to accommodate different shooters. The full-size frame, 17-round magazines, and Glock-pattern sighting system round out a straightforward, duty-size configuration.
