The Alien Remus architecture uses a fixed, bull barrel and a gas-delayed blowback action to keep the bore axis exceptionally low. The non-reciprocating upper sight rail maintains sight alignment while the slide cycles, contributing to the model’s distinctive shooting characteristics.
This First Edition is limited to 500 pistols and is factory engraved with First Edition on the top strap. The pistol is marked ALIEN REMUS and features gold-colored controls with a red safe/fire witness dot. Proof and import markings include the triangle CZ proof with 25, MADE IN CZECH REPUBLIC, and LAUGO ARMS USA LLC, DAYTON, NV.
The upper frame is stainless steel, and the grip module is aluminum alloy, matched with gray marbled grip panels. Texturing on the frontstrap and backstrap, along with a beveled and extended magwell, supports confident handling. Dimensions are compact, with an overall length of approximately 7.2 inches, width of about 1.1 inches, and an unloaded weight around 1.81 pounds.
The Hybrid Inverted Hammerless System (HIHS) trigger has a short reset and an approximate 3.3 lb pull. Iron sights are standard, combining a red fiber-optic front with an adjustable rear on the included iron-sight top strap. A manual safety is present, and the design allows quick changes of the top strap assembly to suit the included accessories.
