The ambidextrous paddle-style magazine release is easy to reach from either side, and the AICS-pattern detachable magazine system provides a 10+1 capacity with the included 10-round magazines.
The 16-inch alloy steel barrel is threaded and equipped with a flash suppressor, balancing compact handling with .308 Win performance. A thread protector is included for use when the muzzle device is removed.
Iron sights are robust and fast: a barrel-band front with a protected blade pairs with a ghost-ring rear aperture flanked by protective wings. The receiver carries Ruger integral scope-ring dovetails, and the forward barrel is drilled and tapped for a scout-scope rail; a Picatinny rail is included but not installed.
The green/gray laminated hardwood stock is built for stability and durability. It features checkering for secure grip, sling swivel studs, and an adjustable length of pull via included spacers, complemented by a rubber recoil pad. Length of pull is set at approximately 13.5 inches and can be fine-tuned with the spacer set.
Finished in matte black, this 2017 example presents clean, sharp rifling and a bright bore, with only light handling marks noted. It is a straightforward, purpose-built configuration that emphasizes practical features for field and range use.
