The integrated compensator system vents through barrel and slide ports, and the slide features top ports and lightening cuts. This setup is designed to reduce muzzle rise, paired with a compact 4 inch barrel for a balanced, controllable package.
The textured composite double-stack grip module with a flared magwell supports a 19+1 capacity in 9mm. Magazines include numbered witness holes to 19. The full-length railed dustcover provides three Picatinny/1913 cross-slots, and the underside is marked "KIMBER TROY AL USA."
Operating on a recoil-operated, locked-breech, single-action-only system, the Pro Comp includes an ambidextrous thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety. A match-grade, lightened aluminum tri-cut trigger and a skeletonized commander-style hammer round out the fire-control setup. The slide uses an internal extractor.
Sighting is straightforward with a fiber-optic (red) front in a dovetail and a black square-notch rear mounted on a removable optic plate secured by two screws. The slide is optics cut and ships with a cover plate, and this example includes an RMR-pattern mounting plate. Two stainless-steel double-stack magazines with polymer baseplates are included.
