The XL MRD configuration pairs a 3.8 in cold hammer-forged steel barrel with a Flat Dark Earth slide and frame. The slide carries front and rear serrations for charged handling and includes a factory MRD optics cut with a cover plate and screws.
The MRD cut is compatible with Shield RMSc and Holosun 507K footprints, giving straightforward footprint options. Fixed night sights feature a tritium front and an all-black U-notch rear for a clean, fast sight picture.
Its single-action, internal hammer–fired design is complemented by a flat-faced trigger and a trigger safety blade. Controls include a push-button magazine release and a slide stop. An extended beavertail and an undercut trigger guard support a high, secure grip.
The polymer frame wears aggressive texturing and includes two sizes of interchangeable backstraps. Capacity is 18+1, and this pistol includes both an 18-round and a 15-round steel magazine. A single-slot accessory rail is sized for Glock 43X MOS pattern lights/lasers. Factory markings include "REFLEX" on the slide, "9x19" on the barrel, and "FN COLUMBIA, SC USA" on the frame.
