The EDC X9L configuration pairs a 5 inch long-slide with Wilson’s X-Frame 7075-T6 aluminum double-stack frame, delivering a 15+1 capacity in a streamlined package. The integral magazine funnel supports fast reloads, and the standard guide rod and locked-breech, tilting-barrel system reflect Wilson Combat’s proven design choices.
The slide is finished in black Armor-Tuff-type coating and cut with a tri-top profile, top serrations, and front/rear X-Tac cocking serrations for confident manipulation. A Trijicon-marked front blade is paired with the Wilson True Zero RMR-pattern plate in the rear dovetail, giving a clean sight picture and direct mounting capability for RMR-pattern optics.
The 416R stainless steel barrel uses a bushing-style fit for consistent lockup. Controls include a single-action fire control system with a skeletonized three-hole trigger, a skeletonized commander-style hammer, and a manual thumb safety. The three-slot accessory rail on the dust cover accepts popular weapon lights.
Factory markings include "WILSON COMBAT BERRYVILLE, AR U.S.A." on the frame, "WILSON COMBAT" on the left side of the slide, "EDC X9" on the right side, and "WILSON 9mm" on the barrel hood. The overall fit and finish align with the EDC X9 series standards and the included range bag, documentation, and extra fiber optic rods round out a complete package.
