The Prime submodel of the METE MC9 is a micro-size, striker-fired 9mm built on a polymer frame with aggressive molded texture for control. Ambidextrous slide stops and a reversible magazine release support left- or right-handed operation. A MIL-STD-1913 three-slot accessory rail is molded into the dust cover.
Its steel barrel is factory ported and compensated at 3.64 inches, matched to slide ports and lightening windows near the muzzle. The factory manual specifies a 3.64 in barrel length; the case label lists 3.84 in.
The slide is optics-cut for direct mounting of micro red dots compatible with MECANIK MO1/MO4, Shield RMS, and Sig Romeo Zero footprints. Night Fision tritium sights are installed, with a high-visibility orange-ring front and a serrated two-dot rear. Front and rear slide serrations aid manipulation.
Safety and fire-control features include a flat-faced trigger with an integrated safety lever, a firing pin block, a loaded chamber indicator, and a visible striker status indicator. Capacity is 17+1 with the included steel magazine. MSRP is listed at $650.
