What's Included
- Browning Double Automatic Twelvette 12 gauge semi-automatic shotgun
The Double Automatic is a distinctive two-shot semi-auto (1+1 capacity) created by Val Browning, using a short-recoil operating system. This example is chambered for 2 3/4 inch shells and carries the 2A prefix indicating 1962 production.
Its 26 inch barrel is factory equipped with a vent rib and a fixed modified choke, and it wears a single front bead for a clean sight picture. The barrel address reads "BROWNING ARMS COMPANY ST LOUIS Mo. & MONTREAL P.Q." with "MADE IN BELGIUM" and "BROWNING PATENTS" markings.
The Twelvette-marked aluminum-alloy receiver keeps weight down while showcasing factory scroll engraving. The engraving includes gold-filled scroll panels with a zig-zag border, complemented by a gold-colored trigger. Belgian proof marks are present, including PV and the 12–70 oval.
Furniture consists of a walnut pistol-grip stock and a long, checkered walnut fore-end. Length of pull measures 14.5 inches, and the shotgun retains the classic single front bead sight configuration.
