The AR-7’s takedown system uses a knurled barrel nut and an ABS-sleeved steel barrel, allowing quick assembly and storage. All major components stow inside the hollow stock under a removable buttcap, and the stowed configuration is designed to float.
It is a semi-automatic, blowback-operated .22 LR with an 8+1 capacity. The rifle measures 35" overall, weighs about 3.5 lb, and has a 14.0" length of pull. The 1:16 twist barrel supports common .22 LR loads.
Sighting is straightforward with a ramped blade front, and the receiver features integral grooves for mounting a rear sight or rimfire optics.
