Built by Makina ve Kimya Endüstrisi (MKE) in Turkey, this AP5-P uses the proven roller-delayed blowback system in a compact format. It is assembled on a stamped-steel receiver with push-pin attachment points and carries the circular MKE logo, a Made in Turkey marking, and a Century Arms Inc Georgia, VT import stamp. Overall length is 13.7 inches, and empty weight is 4.6 lb.
The 5.8-inch barrel is cold-hammer-forged from CMV steel and features a fluted chamber and a 1:9.8 twist. It is threaded 1/2x28 and also includes the HK-pattern 3-lug interface, offering broad compatibility with muzzle devices. A thread protector is installed.
Controls are true to the platform, with a paddle-style magazine release, a manual safety selector, and a forward charging handle on the cocking tube. The pistol uses an MP5K-type short polymer handguard with a separate polymer K-style hand stop on the front sight base for secure support.
Sighting is handled by a protected front post in a hood and a rotating rear diopter drum adjustable for windage and elevation. The SEF-style trigger housing uses 0/1 pictographs. Capacity is 30+1 rounds, and the included factory MKE steel magazine is body-marked '9mmx19 MKE'.
This item was previously registered as an SBR. It has been removed from the NFA registry and is legally considered a pistol. The prior NFA trust engraving on the receiver side rails has been scratched out to reflect its current status.
