Browning BPS Field 12 Gauge Pump-Action, 28" Invector-Plus, Bottom-Eject, Walnut, 2 3/4" & 3" Chambers
This Browning BPS Field 12 gauge was manufactured by Miroku in Japan and features the BPS bottom-ejecting, bottom-loading design with a top-tang ambidextrous safety. It has a 28" steel barrel with a ventilated rib, is threaded for the Browning Invector-Plus choke system, and currently has an Improved Cylinder choke installed. The shotgun carries Browning/Miroku markings and is outfitted with a checkered walnut stock and forend, a recoil pad, and a brass bead front sight.
Condition
Overall Condition: Good condition, showing some signs of prior use and handling.
Bore Condition: Good - Clean, well-maintained, minor wear marks.
Specific Condition Notes: The shotgun shows scratches and blemishes on the finish. There are patches of pitting and rust on the exterior finish. The bolt face exhibits pitting.

The BPS action loads and ejects from the bottom, which keeps empty hulls directed downward and supports use by right- or left-handed shooters. A top-tang safety adds to this ambidextrous control layout. Capacity is 2+1.
The 28" steel barrel has a ventilated rib and a brass bead front sight for a clean sight picture. It is threaded for the Browning Invector-Plus choke system, and this shotgun has an Improved Cylinder choke installed. Note that Invector-Plus chokes are not interchangeable with Standard Invector or Invector-DS systems.
Furniture includes a checkered walnut stock with a recoil pad and a matching walnut forend. Length of pull is 14.0". A gold-colored trigger and a knurled magazine cap round out the field configuration.
Chambered for both 2 3/4" and 3" shells, this BPS Field is marked "Browning Arms Company Morgan, Utah, Made in Japan / Miroku," reflecting its Japanese manufacture by Miroku for Browning.
