The U22 Neos 6.0 pairs a fixed 6-inch alloy-steel barrel with a single-action blowback system, right-side ejection, and an exposed rear bolt. Its fiberglass-reinforced technopolymer frame is finished in black with green inlays, and the black polymer grips carry green textured inlays with the Beretta medallion.
Sighting equipment is set up for target work: an adjustable square-notch rear sight with a white outline and a removable front blade. An integral, full-length Weaver-style top rail with an anodized green finish runs the length of the barrel assembly for mounting compatible optics or accessories.
Controls include an ambidextrous manual safety with red index dots, a sear-blocking safety, and a visible cocking indicator. Field-stripping is tool-less via the front wheel marked "UNLOCK." Capacity is 10+1 with the included steel single-stack magazines.
Markings read "MOD. U22 NEOS – CAL. 22 LR – MADE IN USA – BERETTA U.S.A. CORP., ACCOKEEK, MD." The model was styled by Giorgetto Giugiaro and was later discontinued, adding interest for those who appreciate its distinctive design and U.S. manufacture.
