Built on Freedom Arms’ mid-frame, this Model 97 Premier Grade is a stainless, single-action-only revolver chambered in .357 Magnum with a 5.5-inch barrel. It wears laminated green/black grip panels retained by a single through-bolt and is fitted with a tall serrated ramp front sight and a fully adjustable rear sight for precise zeroing.
The revolver comes with an installed fluted .357 Magnum cylinder (six-shot) and an auxiliary 9mm Luger cylinder with eight chambers. This factory 9mm cylinder adds flexibility at the range while remaining a purpose-made accessory for the Model 97.
Barrel and frame rollmarks are present: the barrel is marked FREEDOM ARMS MODEL 97 .357 MAG, and the frame denotes FREEDOM ARMS PREMIER GRADE. The revolver features a side loading gate, round-profile ejector housing, knurled ejector-rod head, and an exposed serrated hammer. All major components are stainless steel with a brushed/satin finish.
Documentation and packaging are complete and informative. The factory blue box has a model/serial end label, and the included paperwork comprises the Model 1997 Mid-Frame manual and a factory accuracy test target card. The frame and test target show matching serial information, and the spare 9mm cylinder is supplied in a drawstring suede pouch.
