The 24-inch heavy-contour steel barrel uses Remington's 5-R Tactical Rifling, paired with a 1:11.25 twist to stabilize common .308 Win bullet weights. The muzzle is unthreaded and protected by a recessed target crown. The matte black finish across barrel and receiver presents a purposeful, non-reflective profile.
Built on the short-action Model 700 turn-bolt receiver, this rifle feeds from an internal box magazine with a hinged floorplate (BDL-style) for a 4-round capacity. The receiver is drilled and tapped and is currently fitted with a Weaver one-piece Picatinny scope base. There are no iron sights.
The composite stock is finished in black with a light-gray/white web pattern and features a straight, non-adjustable comb and a thick recoil pad. Dual front sling studs and a rear sling stud provide mounting points; a Caldwell bipod is installed on the front stud. The stock's web-textured finish offers a durable, practical surface.
