The PDP Compact format delivers a balance of capacity and carry dimensions, with a 4.0 in barrel and a 15+1 round layout. The barrel is carbon steel with polygonal rifling and a 250 mm right-hand twist for durable service life. A Tenifer finish provides corrosion resistance on critical surfaces.

Sighting is straightforward and fast with an iron-sight setup featuring a Night Fision front post and a rear black notch, paired to an approximate 6.42 in sight radius.
Controls are modern and adaptable: ambidextrous slide stop levers and a reversible magazine release support either hand. The Performance Duty Trigger (PDT) with integral safety blade provides a consistent striker-fired press, and the interchangeable backstraps let the user fine-tune the polymer frame’s fit.
A three-slot Picatinny accessory rail is molded into the dust cover for lights or other rail-mounted equipment.
