The SP9A1 uses a semi-automatic, straight blowback action and is chambered in 9mm Luger. It features an 8-inch steel barrel with a threaded muzzle and a knurled thread protector, providing versatility for muzzle devices. The bore is clean with excellent, sharp rifling.
The chassis combines a hard-anodized aluminum receiver with a polymer frame and a textured polymer grip. A forward-positioned charging handle and ambidextrous safety levers support intuitive handling. The handguard integrates M-LOK slots on the sides, a full-length top Picatinny rail, and a bottom rail segment for accessory mounting.
This example is configured with a Gear Head Works Tailhook PDW-style telescoping arm brace using aluminum hardware and a CNC-machined aluminum arm. Flip-up front and rear sights are present, and a SIG Sauer ROMEO5 Gen II red dot is installed for a clear, fast sight picture.
Illumination is handled by the included Streamlight ProTac Rail Mount HL-X with a remote pressure switch, mounted and wired for immediate use. Three 30-round magazines are included, along with a 3D-printed magazine coupler.
