This Ithaca Model 37 Deerslayer is a King Ferry, New York–marked example from the 1996–2005 era, set up as a smoothbore deer configuration with barrel-mounted rifle sights. It features Ithaca’s bottom-loading/bottom-eject design, a 24 inch smoothbore threaded barrel, and a matching camouflage hydrographic finish on the steel receiver and wood furniture. A Winchester WRK-302 red dot sight is installed on a Weaver-style receiver base, adding a clear, single-point aiming option to the factory fiber-optic sights.

The barrel is roll-marked “DEERSLAYER,” “MODEL 37 … KING FERRY, N.Y., U.S.A.,” and “PROOF TESTED,” placing production in the mid-1996–2005 period. This variant uses the classic Model 37 bottom-loading and bottom-eject system, keeping the ejection port out of the weather and offering an ambidextrous-friendly layout.
The 24 inch smoothbore barrel is threaded for screw-in chokes and wears rifle-style fiber-optic sights: a ramped orange front and an adjustable rear with green elements. An additional flush screw-in choke tube is included for flexibility.
Chambered for both 2 3/4 and 3 inch 12-gauge shells, this Deerslayer has a 4+1 capacity and a cross-bolt safety. The receiver is steel. Operation is pump-action, true to the Model 37 lineage.
The stock and forend are wood with a camouflage hydrographic finish that matches the receiver. Stock features include checkering, sling swivel studs, a rubber recoil pad, and an Ithaca grip-cap medallion. Length of pull measures 14.0 inches, and a camo nylon sling is included.
A Winchester WRK-302 Red Dot sight is installed on a Weaver-style receiver base with rings. This setup provides a fast aiming reference in concert with the barrel-mounted fiber-optic sights.
