The CZ Shadow 2 Compact in 9mm Luger brings the Shadow 2 feature set to a lighter forged aluminum alloy frame with a 4.0-inch cold-hammer-forged barrel and slide-in-frame architecture. This example is a recent 2024 C.I.P.-proofed pistol marked CZ Shadow 2 Compact, imported by CZ-USA. It includes a red fiber-optic front sight and a DPP dovetail optic mounting plate installed in the rear-sight dovetail, along with three 15-round magazines.

Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.

The model marking reads "CZ SHADOW 2 COMPACT," and the pistol follows the classic slide-in-frame CZ-75 architecture with a full beavertail, frontstrap checkering/serrations, and a trigger-guard undercut. The slide features front and rear cocking serrations and runs inside the frame rails.
It is configured with a DA/SA action, a curved and polished trigger, a manual thumb safety, and a reversible low-profile magazine release. Capacity is 15+1 with the included double-stack steel magazines.
The 4.0-inch cold-hammer-forged barrel, red fiber-optic front sight, and the rear-sight dovetail-mounted DPP plate (marked "CZ-P10-02") define the sighting setup as configured. The extended dust cover integrates a three-slot accessory rail.
The forged aluminum alloy frame keeps weight to about 30.7 oz, complemented by machined duralumin checkered grip panels embossed "CZ SHADOW" with a stylized "2." Approximate dimensions are 7.5 × 1.4 × 5.4 inches.
Markings include a C.I.P. proof mark "CIP N" with year code "24," "Made in Czech Republic," and CZ-USA, Kansas City, KS import stamp. Matching serial numbers are observed on the frame and barrel hood.
