The stainless-steel slide and 4.0 in stainless-steel barrel wear S&W's Armornite finish for a uniform black appearance. The slide is cut for optics using the C.O.R.E. system and comes with the cover plate installed. Steel, optic-height 3-dot sights are dovetailed front and rear, with a 6.4 in sight radius.
Controls are user-friendly and adaptable: the slide stop is ambidextrous, and the magazine release is reversible and currently oriented for left-handed shooters. The frame features the aggressive M2.0 texture and ships with three spare palmswell backstraps to fine-tune fit.
The pistol is striker-fired with a flat-faced trigger that provides a tactile and audible reset. There is a trigger safety, no manual thumb safety, and the slide is marked capable of firing with the magazine removed (no magazine disconnect). An accessory rail with three slots supports common weapon-mounted lights.
