The Tactical submodel combines a stainless receiver and barrel with a walnut stock and stainless side-folding assembly. The folding mechanism locks securely, and the black textured synthetic pistol grip provides a firm hold. A black ventilated polymer upper handguard completes the durable, duty-focused configuration.
The 18.5 in stainless barrel is cold hammer-forged, threaded 1/2x28, and fitted with a factory multi-prong flash suppressor. It uses six-groove rifling with a 1:9 RH twist to stabilize a wide range of 5.56 NATO loads. Overall length is 39.25 in with a 13.5 in length of pull, and the rifle weighs 7.5 lb.
Its operating system is the proven fixed-piston, Garand-style rotating-bolt design. Sighting is fast and protected, with an adjustable rear ghost-ring aperture and a protected-blade front sight that incorporates a bayonet lug.
