The compact Shadow 2 configuration delivers a steel slide over an aluminum-alloy frame to keep weight around 30 oz while maintaining the familiar Shadow ergonomics. Overall dimensions are approximately 7.5 x 1.4 x 5.4 in, providing a balanced footprint for carry and range use.
The short-recoil, hammer-fired DA/SA system features a curved polished trigger shoe and a skeletonized external hammer. Controls include an ambidextrous manual safety, extended slide stop, and an extended, checkered magazine release. Frame shaping includes a beavertail, undercut trigger guard, and a checkered front strap for a secure purchase.
Sighting equipment consists of a red fiber-optic front and a black square-notch rear, giving a clear, fast sight picture. The slide is optic-cut with a plate interface for mounting compatible red-dots when desired.
A three-slot Picatinny accessory rail is integrated for lights or lasers. Textured aluminum grip panels carry 'CZ SHADOW' text and complement the two-tone presentation. Markings include CZ-USA, Hartford, CT, with manufacture in the Czech Republic.
