The P365 is a striker-fired, short-recoil-operated micro-compact built around SIG's removable stainless-steel fire control unit. This modular design allows the FCU to be swapped into different grip modules as desired.
It comes with XRAY3 tritium day/night sights: a high-visibility green-ring tritium front and a tritium rear, offering a bright sight picture in varied lighting. The slide has front and rear serrations and a durable black Nitron finish.
This standard configuration is the non-optic-cut, no-manual-safety variant (MPN 365-9-BXR3) with the 3.1-inch barrel and a 10+1 capacity. The frame uses a textured polymer grip module for control in a small footprint.
A proprietary SIG micro-rail on the dust cover supports compatible compact accessories. The pistol is rated for 9mm +P ammunition and was produced in the USA. The included four 10-round magazines add useful flexibility, with both flat and finger-extension baseplates.
