The barrel uses a 1:9 twist and is threaded 1/2x28 with an A2 flash suppressor, providing a versatile setup for standard 5.56 ammunition and muzzle device compatibility. The rifle shows a two-tone finish: matte black receivers and furniture with a silver/gray exposed barrel from the front sight base to the muzzle.
The flat-top upper includes a T-marked Picatinny rail with S&W marking, matched to a fixed A2 front sight and an installed folding rear sight. Essential AR features are present, including a forward assist, dust cover, and case deflector. The right side of the magwell carries the M&P 15 logo, and the upper shows an "A" forging mark.
Furniture is well-appointed with a Magpul MOE SL carbine-length handguard paired to a Magpul RVG rail vertical grip clamped to a short 1913/Picatinny rail section. The stock is an M4-style 6-position collapsible design with an S&W medallion, and the pistol grip is the classic A2-style polymer unit. A manual safety is fitted.
