This M17 Commemorative mirrors the U.S. MHS service configuration and is part of a limited run of 5,000 pistols. The package includes a factory wood display case, commemorative coin, and certificate of authenticity. The coin is numbered to match the pistol’s commemorative number, and the original cardboard box carries the factory “M17-COMMEMORATIVE” label.
Factory markings are correct and informative: the slide is marked with CAGE code “6ZWB1” and part number “13067008,” the frame is marked “NEWINGTON, NH, USA,” and the barrel hood is marked “9mm x 19.” This example was manufactured in 2018 in the United States.
Construction and finish align with the service pattern: a stainless-steel slide with coyote PVD coating over a coyote-tan polymer frame, plus a serialized stainless-steel fire-control unit (FCU). The slide includes front and rear serrations and a rear sight mounted on a removable plate assembly.
Operational features include a striker-fired action and ambidextrous manual thumb safety. The pistol uses fixed 3-dot sights (front blade with dot; metal square-notch rear on the plate) and a 4-slot Picatinny dust-cover rail. Capacity is 21+1 with the extended magazines, and this example ships with two 21-round and one 17-round factory steel magazines.
