The straight-grip walnut stock and matching forend are complemented by a single blued barrel/magazine band, a front magazine-tube hanger, and a black polymer buttplate molded with the HENRY name.
Feeding is via a tubular magazine with a removable inner tube. It accepts .22 Short, .22 Long, and .22 Long Rifle, with factory capacities of 15 rounds of .22 LR, 17 of .22 Long, or 21 of .22 Short. The listed capacity is 15+1 in .22 LR.
Sight alignment is straightforward with a ramped brass-bead front and a semi-buckhorn rear sight featuring a stepped elevator and drift adjustment. The receiver top has 3/8 inch tip-off grooves for standard rimfire rings.
