- RRA LAR-15 Rifles & Pistols Operating & Safety Instruction Manual

This carbine is a dedicated .22 LR build, using an LAR-15M lower and a matching .22 LR upper marked ".22 LR." Its blowback action employs a self-contained recoil assembly housed in the upper, so it does not rely on a traditional buffer and spring.
The 16.5-inch steel barrel is threaded and capped with an A2-pattern birdcage flash hider. A free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard with M-LOK slots (no Picatinny rail sections installed) supports accessory mounting. The flat-top upper has a Picatinny rail on the receiver only; there is a break to the slick 12‑o’clock handguard, so it is not a continuous top rail. A dust cover is present and there is no forward assist.
Controls are AR-15 pattern, including the manual safety selector, bolt catch, and magazine release. Ergonomics include an A2-style polymer pistol grip and a 6-position collapsible stock. A receiver-mounted folding stock adapter is installed, and the length of pull is approximately 12.5–16 inches.
Feeding is via Rock River Arms’ proprietary .22 LR detachable magazine system, with a maximum capacity of 25+1. Two magazines are included to support different capacity needs. The aluminum receivers feature a hard-anodized finish, and the rifle is made in the USA.
