The 16.12 in chrome-moly steel barrel is cold hammer-forged with a heavy contour and fluting for durability, and it is threaded 1/2x28. This configuration pairs conventional 1:10 RH rifling with a clean, crisp crown and a bright bore. The rifle is rated for 9mm Luger ammunition manufactured to U.S. industry standards, including +P.
A simple blowback action is complemented by a tungsten dead-blow mass in the bolt to reduce travel, recoil, and muzzle rise. The receiver is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum alloy and finished with a Type III hard-coat anodize in black. Ruger 10/22 trigger components are used, and the safety is a cross-bolt design.
The carbine uses a tool-less takedown system with a recessed lever and rotating lock ring for quick separation of barrel and receiver assemblies. An interchangeable magazine-well system supports Ruger SR/Security-9 and Glock-pattern magazines (American Pistol magwell available separately). The charging handle and magazine release are reversible to accommodate user preference.
Factory iron sights include a protected-blade front and an adjustable ghost-ring aperture rear. The rifle features a rail and scope mount to support sighting setups. The black glass-filled nylon stock offers molded texturing, a soft rubber buttpad, sling swivel studs, and length-of-pull adjustment via spacers (13.5 in LOP as configured).
