This Windicator is marked with German CIP proofs on the right topstrap and carries the EAA COCOA FL importer stamp along with MADE IN GERMANY - DE and EA/R markings. The cylinder is stamped ".357 MAG.", and the barrel marking notes compatibility with .38 Special ammunition.
The revolver is a compact, six-shot DA/SA snubnose with a 2.25 in barrel. It uses a push-forward, checkered cylinder latch and has a knurled, exposed ejector-rod tip. The topstrap and barrel rib are serrated, and the fixed sights consist of a ramped front and an integral rear notch in the topstrap.
A heavy, full-length underlug and shrouded barrel profile define the front end. The matte silver (chrome) finish is applied to the frame, cylinder, and receiver, giving the revolver a consistent appearance throughout.
