The rifle is a first-generation Axis (non-AccuTrigger) with the Axis family’s floating bolt head and barrel-nut headspacing design. It uses a right-hand turn-bolt action and a detachable box magazine with a stated 4+1 capacity in .223 Rem.
The 22-inch sporter-contour barrel ends in a crowned muzzle. The receiver is drilled and tapped for optics, and this example carries a Bushnell 3-9x40 scope mounted in camouflage-finished rings on two-piece bases.
Its synthetic stock has a straight-comb sporter profile and includes a ventilated recoil pad and sling studs. Length of pull is 14 inches, and overall size is full-size. Safety is a tang-mounted, two-position sliding design.
A comprehensive camouflage hydro-dip covers the stock, barrel, receiver, rings, and scope for a consistent look. This Axis was made in the United States and includes a padded camouflage sling, rounding out a practical, ready-to-go setup.
