This example ships with 15- and 13-round steel magazines and retains the factory no-thumb-safety layout and trigger safety.
The Shield X frame features an extended-grip geometry and aggressive molded texture for control. Controls include a left-side slide stop and takedown lever. An integral three-slot accessory rail supports compatible lights or lasers, and the slide includes forward and rear serrations with a factory cover plate over the optics interface.
