The APC308 DMR uses a semi-automatic short-stroke gas piston system with a rotating bolt, delivering consistent operation across conditions. A dedicated suppressor gas setting is built in, and a hydraulic buffer recoil system is integrated into the platform. The rifle is Swiss-made and marked with the B&T logo, Thun, Switzerland marking, and Swiss cross emblem.
Its 18.9-inch barrel is cold-hammer-forged, fluted, and heavy-profile with a 1:12 RH twist and a threaded muzzle. This configuration is designed to manage heat, maintain rigidity, and support muzzle device installation.
The rifle features fully ambidextrous controls, including a paddle-style ambidextrous magazine release, an ambidextrous safety selector, and dual side-folding ambidextrous charging handles. It accepts SR-25/M110/AR-10 pattern magazines and ships with one 20-round Magpul PMAG LR/SR Gen M3. Capacity is 20+1.
A full-length 12 o'clock Picatinny rail runs along the top, and the M-LOK handguard supports accessory mounting. Folding front and rear iron sights are included for immediate use.
The B&T side-folding, length-adjustable stock provides two LOP positions (13.5 in and 15.5 in) and a rubberized buttpad. The alloy receiver keeps the system robust, and the Magpul AR-pattern pistol grip offers familiar ergonomics.
