The slide is stainless steel with front and rear cocking serrations and Legion branding, including the LEGION engraving and chevron/logo on the slide top. The Legion gray coating extends across the slide and aluminum-alloy frame for a unified appearance.
Sight acquisition is aided by tritium night sights. The pistol uses an aluminum trigger and runs as a single-action, hammer-fired system with an ambidextrous thumb safety and a standard left-side magazine release.
Built for concealability, the micro-size P238 Legion has a 2.7 in barrel, 5.5 in overall length, 4.3 in height, and 1.1 in width. Weight is approximately 15.2 oz with magazine. Capacity is 7+1 using the included 7-round magazines.
