Chambered in 9mm Luger, the SUB-2000 Gen 2 is a USA-made folding PCC that collapses to approximately 16.25 in for storage and measures about 30.5 in when unfolded. Unloaded weight is approximately 4.25 lb, keeping it light and easy to handle.
The 16.25 in steel barrel is threaded 1/2x28 and fitted with a knurled thread protector. It operates via a semi-automatic, straight blowback action and is configured for Glock 17/22 pattern magazines, with a 17+1 capacity.
Construction is centered on durable polymer components in a black finish, including a skeletonized stock. The stock offers multi-position length-of-pull adjustment holes, with a 13.0 in length of pull.
The polymer handguard provides full-length top and bottom Picatinny-style rails with side slots, and this example has one short Picatinny rail section installed on one side. Sighting is via iron sights: a protected front post on a metal tower and an aperture rear at the back of the receiver. Receiver markings include SUB-2000, KEL TEC CNC INC COCOA FL, and MADE IN USA, with the serial marking located on the bolt tube.
