The Commander-length 4.25 in barrel is stainless steel, match-grade, and bushing-fit, aimed at consistent accuracy and reliable lockup. Christensen Arms reports a factory accuracy guarantee of 2 in at 25 yd, complementing the pistol’s precision build.
Its titanium-alloy frame keeps weight to an approximate 33.6 oz while retaining 1911 balance. The slide is 17-4 stainless with front and rear cocking serrations, including Christensen’s distinctive fish-scale/ram-head pattern. The dustcover is non-railed, and the overall finish is two-tone: matte gray slide and frame with black-finished small parts/controls.
Sight picture is handled by low-mount Trijicon tritium night sights in a 3-dot configuration. The front sight is marked H3 13, providing a clear, durable reference in varied light conditions.
Classic 1911 controls include single-action operation, a beavertail grip safety with raised memory pad, and a single-sided manual thumb safety. The front strap is checkered, as is the flat mainspring housing, and the magazine well is lightly beveled. A skeletonized Commander-style hammer and a skeletonized three-hole trigger round out the performance features.
