Built in the USA under Nighthawk’s One Gun, One Gunsmith approach, this Counselor includes Nighthawk’s patented Flush-Fit Magwell, a 3.5 inch bull barrel with flush cut and recessed crown, and positive-style front cocking serrations. The IOS setup supports optic and iron-sight configurations, while a Trijicon-marked front sight provides a clear front reference.

The Counselor is a compact, officer-size 1911 platform chambered in 9mm Luger with a 7+1 capacity, designed around a forged aluminum frame to keep weight down while maintaining durability. It carries Nighthawk’s patented Flush-Fit Magwell for streamlined reloads without adding bulk to the grip.
The slide wears front and rear cocking serrations with raised front serrations for positive manipulation. Its custom multi-tone camouflage finish continues across both slide and frame, matched with black checkered/waffle-texture grip panels and a vertically serrated mainspring housing for consistent purchase.
The 3.5 inch bull barrel is flush cut with a recessed crown. The pistol uses a single-action, short-recoil operated system with a thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety.
Nighthawk’s IOS provides dedicated plates for the included Trijicon RMR and iron-sight options. A Trijicon-marked front sight completes the sighting setup, offering immediate alignment alongside the RMR’s red dot.
