    Stevens Model 59A .410 Bore Bolt-Action Repeating Shotgun, 24 in. Barrel, 3+1 Capacity

    This Stevens Model 59A stands out as a bolt-action .410 repeating shotgun with an under-barrel tubular magazine and removable brass-colored inner tube. It features an open-top receiver with right-side ejection, a 24-inch barrel, and chambers for both 2 1/2-inch and 3-inch shells. Factory rollmarks include the maker, model designation, and "410 BORE PROOF TESTED." No serial number is observed, which is typical of pre-1968 Stevens production.

    Its 24-inch barrel is roll-marked with the maker, the Model 59A designation, and "410 BORE PROOF TESTED." The shotgun is chambered for both 2 1/2-inch and 3-inch shells and offers a capacity of up to 3+1.

    Furniture includes a one-piece hardwood pistol-grip stock with a black buttplate and a black-painted forearm nose. The metal wears a blued finish.

    Made in the United States, this shotgun is part of the Stevens Model 59 series, which had store-brand counterparts such as J.C. Higgins. No serial number is observed, consistent with typical pre-1968 Stevens production. Length of pull measures 14 inches.
