This SIG Sauer MCX Virtus Pistol pairs an 11.5-inch cold-hammer-forged heavier-contour barrel with the MCX short-stroke gas piston system, delivering a compact, soft-shooting 5.56 NATO platform. It features a true side-folding brace via an internal recoil system and 1913 rear interface, a free-floating aluminum M-LOK handguard with a continuous full-length Picatinny top rail, and SIG's Matchlite Duo two-stage trigger. The uniform gray finish and factory markings complete a feature-rich, proven configuration.

The MCX Virtus operating system uses a gas-operated short-stroke piston with a rotating bolt and a two-position gas valve for suppressed or unsuppressed settings. Its internal recoil system and 1913 rear interface eliminate the need for a buffer tube, enabling true side-folding operation with the included brace.
The 11.5-inch cold-hammer-forged heavier-contour barrel is user-interchangeable and threaded, topped with a three-prong flash hider. This configuration balances compact handling with dependable performance in a full-size pistol format.
Ergonomics and controls include an ambidextrous safety selector, a left-side bolt catch, a right-side magazine release, and a forward assist. The Matchlite Duo two-stage trigger provides a clean, predictable break. A SIG-marked textured polymer grip anchors the shooting hand.
The free-floating aluminum M-LOK handguard mates to a continuous full-length MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny top rail across the receiver and handguard. The upper carries the VIRTUS nameplate, while the lower is marked with the circular SIG logo and "SIG MCX MULTI-CALIBER"; the ejection-port cover interior is marked "MULTI-CAL." A uniform gray finish covers the receivers and handguard. Capacity is 30+1. Made in the USA.
