Its operating system is locked-breech and striker-fired, offering a pre-cocked single-action trigger with double-action restrike capability. Safety features include a manual thumb safety, trigger safety, firing-pin block, loaded-chamber indicator, and the Taurus Security System (key lock). A short Picatinny-style accessory rail is integrated into the dust cover.
A VLIFE micro reflex red-dot sight is mounted on the slide. This aftermarket micro reflex optic provides a red-dot aiming solution and is not a factory G2 feature.
