Built on Ruger's proven straight blowback 10/22 action, this carbine pairs a stainless 18.5 inch tapered barrel and crowned, non-threaded muzzle with an aluminum alloy receiver finished in silver anodizing. It uses Ruger detachable rotary magazines and has a cross-bolt safety. Capacity is 10+1 in .22 LR.
The aftermarket TAPCO USA polymer chassis reconfigures the platform to an AR-style format with a 6-position telescoping buttstock and pistol grip. Length of pull is adjustable to approximately 10.75–14.5 inches, and the black polymer furniture is lightweight and durable.
The polymer forend integrates a full-length top Picatinny rail and a lower accessory rail near the front for mounting accessories. The receiver is drilled and tapped, and a 4-hole cross-slot scope base is installed for mounting options. A front sling swivel is attached to the forend rail.
Barrel-mounted iron sights are retained, including a ramped front blade and a folding rear leaf. The bore condition and rifling are reported as good, supporting reliable performance with standard .22 LR loads.
