The M2.0 Metal Compact pairs a T6 aluminum-alloy frame with a stainless-steel slide, both finished in tungsten gray Cerakote for a uniform, durable appearance. The compact 4.0-inch barrel configuration and 15+1 capacity deliver a balanced size-to-capacity profile suited to a wide range of uses.
The slide is optics-ready with a factory multi-footprint interface and cover system, and the pistol is equipped with fixed steel sights: a dovetailed front post with a bright dot and a plain black, square-notch rear. The flat-face trigger and striker-fired action reflect the current M2.0 feature set.
Ergonomics are supported by interchangeable M&P M2.0 palmswell backstraps, allowing the grip to be tailored to the shooter. A four-slot Picatinny-style dustcover rail accommodates compatible lights or accessories. The frame carries the factory warning that the pistol is capable of firing with the magazine removed.
This no-thumb-safety (NTS) model is part of the M&P9 M2.0 Metal series and maintains backward magazine compatibility with legacy M2.0 Compact magazines. Markings note the slide as Springfield, MA USA and the frame as Maryville, TN USA.
