This example uses a Government-length 5 inch configuration with a GI-style recoil system, barrel bushing, and short guide rod.
The 9mm chambering is paired with a forged stainless steel, match-grade barrel featuring a fully supported feed ramp and a 1:16 twist. This setup is built for smooth feeding of 9mm while providing precise barrel-to-slide lockup. Capacity is 9+1 using single-stack magazines with steel bodies stamped "9MM."
Controls follow a practical 1911 layout: a single-sided extended thumb safety, a beavertail grip safety with memory bump, and internal 1911 safeties. The trigger is a skeletonized three-hole design, and the hammer is a skeletonized commander-style profile. Sights are low-profile combat 3-dot units, dovetailed front and rear, with a white-dot front and a two-dot rear for a clear, familiar sight picture.
The slide is cut with rear serrations only, maintaining the model's classic lines. The frontstrap is smooth, and the mainspring housing is vertically serrated. Aftermarket textured gray grip panels are installed (brand not marked), giving added traction without altering the pistol's traditional geometry.
