The SP5L denotes HK's long-barrel 9mm configuration, and this Elite package pairs that format with a full-length Midwest Industries aluminum M-LOK handguard. The handguard extends the usable accessory space and includes integrated QD sockets, providing versatile mounting options while retaining HK’s classic profile.
Built on MP5 production lines in Oberndorf, Germany, the firearm uses HK’s roller-delayed blowback system with a stamped steel receiver. It carries German CIP "N" proofing, "DE 9mmx19" barrel markings, and the HK Inc., Columbus, GA import mark, confirming its German manufacture and U.S. import path.
The SB Tactical SBT5 brace is a side-folding design with a polymer body and a hook-and-loop strap. It complements the SP5L format while maintaining a compact footprint when folded.
The barrel is threaded 1/2x28 for compatible 9mm muzzle devices. Sight regulation is via HK’s diopter rear drum and hooded front post, and operation features include the left-side charging handle with locking notch and a manual safety selector.
