This Staccato P4.5 HD is a recent-release, full-size 9mm built on Staccato's 2011 modular double-stack platform with a steel frame and a 4.5 inch sight-block barrel. The HD series debuted in 2025 and this example features an optics-cut slide with wrap-over serrations, a full-length dust cover with a 5-slot Picatinny rail, and a captured flat-wire recoil spring. It is designed for 18+1 capacity and accepts proprietary Staccato 2011 double-stack 9mm magazines. Included are five factory steel double-stack magazines, a Staccato-branded soft case, the HD Owner’s Manual, a factory test target card, and the factory optics-cut cover plate with screws.

The P4.5 HD pairs a steel frame with a full-length dust cover and a 5-slot Picatinny accessory rail, providing a rigid foundation and straightforward light/laser mounting. The slide is optics-cut and finished with wrap-over cocking serrations for positive manipulation, while the sight-block barrel carries a green dot front sight; rear sight configuration is optics/plate dependent.
Controls and safeties include ambidextrous thumb safeties, a slide stop, and a firing-pin block. The single-action system uses a lightened trigger. A captured flat-wire recoil spring (HD spec) is installed.
The grip module is polymer with aggressive texture and a flared magazine well funnel to speed reloads. Capacity is 18+1, and the pistol is designed to accept proprietary Staccato 2011 double-stack 9mm magazines. The included magazines have witness marks to 18.
